How ridiculous can you get?

I saw this on CBS News with Katie Couric......please, are these things really out there?

12 Gadgets Last Christmas

This was a great project we hosted in the library last December.

Pumpkin muffins

I just discovered a fabulous recipe for Pumpkin muffins. I found it over on a Bake-a-long blog named Sticky, Gooey, Creamy, Chewy. Don't these look yummy?

Sticky, Gooey, Creamy, Chewy says
The recipe was fairly easy and I didn't run into any problems along the way. As I baked the muffins for the instructed length of time, my house smelled heavenly - just like pumpkin pie!

I can't wait to try them.

Fall Foliage

How can something so beautiful be so messy? Every year, the seasons change in Western Kentucky. Geese are seen overhead flying south in their V-formations and the temperatures begin to dip lower and lower each night. Native trees burst into color. The day that the color change begins varies from one year to the next but scientists, along with Weather.com have developed forecasting methods that can predict approximate dates. According to Weather.com's Fall Foliage map for Western Kentucky, we are at "near-peak" color.

There are hickory leaves in bright gold, sweet gum trees in bright red and plums in deep purple.
